Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Honey Sriracha Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)

For Garnish:

  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Chicken:
    • In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.
  2. Cook Chicken:
    • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger (if using).
  4. Combine Chicken and Sauce:
    • Pour the honey sriracha sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Add the cooked chicken pieces back into the skillet and toss to coat them evenly in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and glazes the chicken.
  5. Serve:
    • Transfer the Honey Sriracha Chicken Bites to a serving dish. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Enjoy your sweet and spicy Honey Sriracha Chicken Bites as an appetizer, snack, or even as a main dish with rice or vegetables!
