Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced

For the Vanilla Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
    • In a small saucepan, heat the milk, water, and butter until the butter is melted and the mixture is warm but not hot.
    • Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
    • Add the egg and mix well.
    • Gradually add the remaining flour, 1/2 cup, until the dough is soft and slightly sticky.
    • Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
    • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a medium bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 16×12 inches.
    • Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
