Ingredients:

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Optional protein: chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu (about 1 lb, sliced into thin pieces)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sauce:
    • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, sugar, and chicken/vegetable broth until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Noodles:
    • Cook the lo mein noodles or spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry the Protein:
    • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
