INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tubes Pillsbury Grands, or large store bought cinnamon rolls
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ stick Butter, cut into thin slices
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 canisters of Icing from Cinnamon Roll Tubes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cinnamon roll package. Usually, this is around 350°F. Spray a baking dish with baking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Arrange Cinnamon Rolls: Open the tubes of cinnamon rolls and place them in the prepared baking dish. Arrange them close to each other so they are touching.
  • Add Toppings: Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the cinnamon rolls. Then, place the thinly sliced butter on top of the rolls.
  • Pour Heavy Cream: Pour the cup of heavy cream evenly over the cinnamon rolls. The cream will soak into the rolls as they bake, making them extra moist and delicious.
  • Bake: Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven. Follow the baking time on the cinnamon roll package, which is typically around 25-35 minutes. The rolls should be golden brown on top when they’re done. (The amount of time is really your preference, at 25 minutes, the rolls will be pretty gooey all over, at 30-35 the outside edges will be crispy with a gooey center).
  • Cool & Add Icing: Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. If you’re using homemade cream cheese icing, drizzle or spread it over the warm rolls. The heat from the rolls will melt the icing slightly, making it easier to spread.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Serve the cinnamon rolls warm, ideally while they’re fresh and soft. They pair wonderfully with a cup of coffee or a cold glass of milk.
