Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze and incorporate any browned bits.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and dried thyme. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve the Creamy Parmesan Chicken over cooked pasta, rice, or with your favorite side dishes.
