Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze and incorporate any browned bits.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and dried thyme. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
